The beach area was the best - beautiful and quiet. The location was beautiful.

Gorgeous resort with beautiful landscaping and nice beach a short walk away. Only have it two stars as we had multiple issues during our stay, including booking a spa service through the resorts infotainment system that wasn't actually honored (infotainment system allows you to book services after the spa is actually closed, apparently this is a known issue as I was not the first and the spa was familiar with the issue so I would expect this to have been resolved), additionally we experienced some additional issues with the iPad that controls many of the rooms features. We ate at One Forty restaurant, in my opinion the food was good but not exceptional and service had minor hiccups. The beach is actually a public beach that borders the resort, it's a nice beach but for the price I expected to be able to walk right out onto the beach, not off of the resort (it's only a 5 minute walk but wasn't what I expected). Snorkelling gear is included for guests which is nice as there is a coral reef right off the beach with a lot of fish activity and even saw a sea turtle there. The hospitality of the resort staff was great once we arrived. It's disappointing that they don't offer a courtesy shuttle from the port since it's a 3 minute drive (walkable just on the other side of the beach). I booked a reservation for the shuttle (they charged $44 a person round trip for the 3 minute - approximately 1 mile drive each way once the drive you up the actual entrance) and yet they still almost left without us even though they had our names on the list and knew we were arriving on that specific ferry (literally flagged the driver down after she had shut all the doors and was about to drive off even though she only had one couple on the bus). Overall I just wasn't impressed.

Beautifully- appointed rooms, elegantly renovated. Staff were superb and efficient. Nice views of the Hulopoe Bay. Very private. Lots of quiet alcoves to hang out and sit. Lots of great activities to do.

Free golf there.

Permanently closed hotel, but golf is still free

Our stay was outstanding. We got a free upgraded room. Plenty of activities and easy access to them. The beach area was the best - beautiful and quiet. The location was beautiful. Can't wait until a time when we can go ack.
