Decor is lovely. Chef is a wonderful person. Cannot say enough nice things sbout him. However; the food is terrible. We are saddened as this is the only ‘ go out to dinner’ restaurant in the city. Everything is drowned in sauce or fried, or too heavily coated. We have never been able to finish a dish. We politely take it home and discard it. We have eaten beans and rice and unknown food for weeks in third world countries so we will eat just about anything. The meals are expensive and ‘plate lunch quality except for a few dishes. We are very disappointed.
